This supercharged Paloma is the only cocktail you need this winter

Full-bodied and delicious, this cocktail takes the finest ingedients and turns them into a cocktail that will warm you in your core.

The Laphroaig Paloma

Ingredients

  • 50ml Laphroaig 10-year-old whisky
  • 50ml grapefruit juice
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 10ml simple syrup
  • 50ml soda water
  • Large ice cube
  • Laphroaig peat-smoked salt

Method

  1. Rub the rim of a tumbler with lime, then dip into Laphroaig peat smoked salt.
  2. To a cocktail shaker, add Laphroaig, large cubed ice, grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple syrup.
  3. Shake vigorously then pour over ice into your tumbler glass of choice.
  4. Lengthen with soda water.
  5. Stir and garnish with a slice of lime and/or jalapeño for a touch of fire and a pop of green.
