While the music industry’s biggest night went down smoother than its film counterpart, the red carpet brought more than enough drama, PDA and, most importantly, dresses, to make it an evening to remember.

Celebrities stormed the Las Vegas red carpet, going all out with their sartorial choices. In particular, sparkles, princess gowns, and plenty of skin were the trends du jour on this eve renowned for risqué fashion.

SEQUINS

H.E.R.

in Dolce & Gabbana

H.E.R. is sunshine personified in this eclectic ’70s inspired jumpsuit. It’s just the right amount of see-through, with a decent spattering of sequins to keep things interesting, without dominating the outfit.

Looking like an ultra-chic disco ball, one half of musical duo Chloe x Halle proved more is more in this shimmering silver sequinned dress and cape combination.

CHLOE BAILEY

TIFFANY HADDISH

in Prada

Oozing old Hollywood glamour, Haddish stunned in this elegant, rose-gold Prada dress, adding (even more!) sparkle with Norman Silverman diamond jewellery.

PRINCESS DRESSES

Layers of flouncy ombré gold tulle and a bedazzled bodice made this ballgown one of the most eye-catching on the red carpet. Fit for a (country music) queen, indeed.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD

in Dolce & Gabbana

With a cinched-in waist to balance the oversized ruffles on the bust and skirt, coupled with a metres-long train and vibrant hue, this was a classic show-stopping red carpet gown.

CHRISSY TEIGEN

in Nicole + Felicia

RACHEL ZEGLER

in Christian Dior

Perhaps a nod to her upcoming role as Snow White, Zegler looked every bit the Disney princess in this muted grey, netted tulle, custom Dior gown.

SKIN-BARING

DOJA CAT

Doja Cat knows how to own a red carpet. Case in point: this slinky, sheer, Y2K Atelier Versace dress, complete with a matching Coperni bag and iconic ’00s Gwen Stefani-inspired hair.

SAWEETIE

in Valentino

Somehow, this look is simultaneously risqué and demure, thanks to the opera gloves and bralette pairing. Like a modern-day Marilyn Monroe in her iconic hot pink William Travilla dress and dripping in diamonds, Saweetie nailed the brief.

LILY ALDRIDGE

in Nensi Dojaka

Oh-so-subtly sheer and deceptively simple, this Nensi Dojaka dress reimagines and upgrades the ’90s spaghetti strap slip, with just enough skin revealed on the back and décolletage.

Sparkles and skin in the City of Sin.
