The art world is buzzing with excitement over a 10-year-old who has been labelled as “Picasso in the making” for his artwork resembling that of the Spanish, France-based painter.

Andres Valencia, of San Diego in California, discovered his knack for painting at the age of four, while trying to copy artwork from the living room of his family's home.

The art prodigy, who is inspired by Picasso and cubism, earned global recognition for his work at Miami Art Week in December. Valencia's pieces go for up to $20,000 each.
