Etihad reveals Armani/Casa business class collection
A first look at the airline’s new collaboration, which elevates the in-flight experience with designer bedding and tableware.
Etihad’s business class offering has been given a luxury upgrade, with the airline announcing a new in-flight partnership with Armani/Casa.
From December, the Italian fashion and lifestyle house will provide tableware and bedding to guests travelling in business class with the UAE’s national carrier.
Designer Giorgio Armani developed the Constellation Collection, which is inspired by the night sky.
“Today we unveil a completely new and elevated way to fly with Etihad Airways—an experience defined by our Emirati heritage yet shaped by a clear vision for our future,” Etihad group CEO Tony Douglas said. “Known globally for its Italian luxury and elegance, Armani/Casa is the ideal brand partner to create an unparalleled level of bespoke service and refinement for our guests.”
The collection, which includes cutlery, ceramics, glassware and bedding, features a palette of slate, aquamarine, white and dark green inspired by Abu Dhabi’s natural environment as well as its modern skyline.
Geometric patterns adorn plates and cutlery, while bedding features a subtle slate checked fabric which complements the airline’s new memory foam mattresses.
