Sydney
Pier One Sydney Harbour
This one of my favourite dog-friendly hotels in Sydney. Stay right on the harbour, underneath the Harbour Bridge. Dogs are also welcome at outdoor tables at the on-site restaurant (perhaps order a Doggy Degustation, with beef bone broth and salmon), plus they are supplied with their own minibar.
Kimpton Margot Sydney
This pet-friendly luxury boutique hotel has an “if it fits in the lift” policy, with no other size or breed restrictions, as well as no pet fees. A pet nook will be set up in your room, including a luxurious pet bed and a special treat.
Melbourne
The Langham Melbourne
For the ultimate dog-friendly luxury stay, make a booking for a Pampered Pets Staycation. One pet up to 20kg is permitted per room, with breakfast in bed included and a Private Dining Menu just for your pet.
Element Melbourne Richmond
Stay 6km east of the city at this hotel focused on wellness, with eco-friendly features. Up to two dogs with a combined weight of 20kg are welcome in selected rooms, for an additional fee per night.
Adelaide
Mayfair Hotel
Book the Luxe Pets package at this luxury hotel in a renovated, heritage-listed building overlooking Rundle Mall. Up to two dogs or cats are permitted, up to 20kg each, with larger dogs permitted at the manager’s discretion.
Perth
QT Perth
Enjoy a stylish stay at this city hotel, with one dog up to 20kg permitted per room. Your dog will be provided with their own bed and a dog-friendly minibar as part of the Pup Yeah! package.
Brisbane
W Brisbane, North Quay
For a luxe stay in the centre of Brisbane, look no further than the glamorous W. Smaller dogs up to 18kg are welcome in their pet-friendly rooms, for an additional nightly fee plus a one-off cleaning fee.
The Gold Coast
QT Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise
For a touch of luxury, stay at the QT Gold Coast, just metres from the beach. Book a Pup Yeah! package, available for dogs up to 20kg. As well as a bed, dogs have their own minibar and in-room dining menu.
Darwin
Mercure Darwin Airport Resort
This resort-style hotel offers a Bow Wow Package, with no size restrictions. It includes accommodation in a pet-friendly bungalow, buffet breakfast for two, and a free dog toy.
Hobart
Discovery Parks, Risdon Vale
The closest caravan park to the centre of Hobart. Pets are allowed on powered sites, plus in selected budget cabins that are ideal for families and include a bathroom and full kitchen.
