Style cues from the show we can't stop thinking about.

Style cues from the show we can't stop thinking about.

The White Lotus season 2. It’s all we can talk about. Every day I’m at my desk, disassociating under the harsh fluoros, trying to trick my mind into thinking that I’m actually splayed out in Sicilian splendour, Aperol Spritz in hand. Naturally, with these being a show about the one percenters vacaying in Italy, there are a bounty of enviable style moments. From Aubrey Plaza’s chic and understated prep, to Mia and Lucia's party-girl glamour. We’re rounding up our favourite looks, and how to shop them.

Lucia & Mia

Simona Tabasco’s Lucia and Beatrice Grannò’s Mia are scene stealers. Two gorgeous and mischievous sex workers with a party wardrobe worth dying for. Through Lucia's foxiness, the girls swindle on of her clients (Michael Imperioli) and upgrade their wardrobe to designer garments on his dime. “There’s an echo of the movie ‘Pretty Woman.’ The dresses get sparklier and sparklier as they go through the series,” The White Lotus costume designer Alex Bovaird told Variety.

Lucia: 1. Snakeskin dress, Rotate Birger Christensen 2. Butterfly corset, With Jean 3. Mosaic sunglasses, Dolce & Gabbana 4. Sequin dress, Clio Peppiatt 4. Charm necklace, Alighieri 5. Cut-out dress, Kookaï

Mia: 1. Checked pants, Em on Holiday 2. Pearl necklace, Carly Paiker 3. Silver dress, Rick Owens4. Sequin dress, Clio Peppiatt 5. Espadrilles, Manebi 6. Earrings, Reliquia

Portia

Poor Portia (Haley Lu Richardson), our lost little lamb who doesn’t quite know who she is, or what she wants. She just knows she wants to live. Portia dresses like the internet, despite telling Albie (Adam DiMarco) she despises being terminally online. “There’s a brand called House of Sunny, and she wears two or three pieces from there,” said “It’s from the U.K., and it’s one of those brands that they advertise to you on Instagram, and you’re like, ‘Okay, okay! I’m gonna buy you now!'”

Haley Lu Richardson weighed in on her characters much-maligned style on Collider’s podcast. “She's so lost and she's trying so hard to feel alive and to understand how she fits into the world and to be fulfilled and to be excited. So I feel like that would be reflected in her wardrobe, but in a mess of a way. Like putting things together that are loud, but don't make sense."

Portia: 1. Check shirt, Lazy Oaf 2. Sweatshirt, Aries Arise 3. Green dress, House of Sunny 4. Sunglasses, both Crap Eyewear 5. Sandals, Doc Martens 6. Hat, Cotton On

Harper

Aubrey Plaza's Harper boasts the show's most covetable style moments. It's a crying shame that we will likely only ever own her Mirabelle Bottega Venetta Arco tote in our dreams. C'est la vie, we'll still do our best to replicate her vintage-indebted, uber-chic looks on a budget.

Harper: 1. Swimsuit, Reiss 2. Striped shirt, Frankie Shop 3. Sunglasses, Quay 4. Pyjamas, Silk Maison 4. Corset, Miaou 5. Dress, Silk Laundry

Daphne

Meghann Fahy's Daphne is a doll. If I was a cashed-up housewife, I'd probably spend all my time blithely perusing and purchasing on Paddington's Walk of Style too.

Daphne: 1. Dress, Zimmermann 2. Swimsuit, Pucci 3. Brocade bustier, Dolce & Gabbana 4. Sunglasses, Gucci 5. Striped top, Prada 6. Striped skirt, Prada
