Katia Alexandrovskaya came to Australia at just 15 with big dreams. Sadly, her life was cut tragically short.
2015. When Katia is 15, her father dies suddenly. During that year she travels to Ukraine to find a skating partner, but is unsuccessful. January 2016. Cleared by Russia skating federation to change countries, Katia travels to Australia for the first time, splitting training between Sydney and Melbourne. Katia moves in with coach Galina Pachin and her family in Castle Hill. Picture: Instagram
