PUMPED! Kok's embrace with 'legend' Stan

Aussie Alex de Minaur has been bundled out of the French Open in the second round after a convincing 6-3 7-6 6-3 loss to Argentina’s Tomás Martín Etcheverry

De Minaur had no answer for Etcheverry’s big-hitting and was swiftly defeated in straight sets.

Etcheveryy, the world no. 46 claimed a back and forth first set with both men breaking the other early and the Aussie never recovered as Etcheverry controlled the rest of the way to claim victory in just under three hours.

Some ill-timed double faults also compounded the misery for the Aussie, who was broken four times by his Argentian counterpart.

The 24-year-old Aussie beat Belarusian Ilya Ivashka in the opening round at Roland Garros on Tuesday.

Thanasi Kokkinakis and Max Purcell are the only two remaining Australian men in the draw after the top-ranked Aussie’s exit.

Purcell battles Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka on Thursday night for a place in the third round.
