NSW junior rugby state championships 2025 winners, grinners on day two, results

There were try scoring sensations galore and hot boots aplenty with a Penrith young gun scoring four tries and kicking six conversions on day two of the NSW Junior rugby state titles.

There were try scoring sensations galore and hot boots aplenty on the second day of the NSW junior rugby state titles being played and regional fields.

In the under 13 to the under 18s divisions there were thrillers, blowouts, ferocious battles and hard-fought wins.

The generation next of the sport gave their all in multiple games across the state with the winners to be determined on Monday,

One of the standouts of the day was Penrith youngster Alliyah Hukui who scored an incredible four tries and made six conversions in one match at the under 14s state championship.

Below we take a look at some of the biggest scores, the try scoring sensations helping their teams climb to the top of the ladder and the hot boots of numerous young guns on the second day of the annual competition.

UNDER 13S BOYS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

There were two big scores in round four of the user 13s with Manly Marlins beating Sydney University West 34-5 on Sunday.

George Blake Hopoate scored three tries for Manly in this match with Jensen Ticehurst converting two and scoring a try himself.

In another high-scoring match it was the west versus the east with Penrith beating the Beasties 31–7.

The closest game at the Orange event was fought out between MNC and the Harlequin‘s with MNC winning 19–17.

In round five Penrith scored a big 41–5 win over Gordon with seven different players scoring tries in Tymon Amete, Johnson Prentice, Kisona Erupi, Cruz Shiels, Antonio Durant, Whitmer Sione and Denzel Taveuveu and Jensen Brown converting three.

In round six an on-song Manly defeated Northern Suburbs 26–7 while the Harlequins and Western Plains played out a 7–7 draw.

UNDER 14S BOYS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In the boys under 14s on day two, Eastwood scored a big 45–5 victory over the Two Blues while Penrith kept the Easts Beasties scoreless in their 38–0 win.

Jayden Xerri was a standout for Penrith with two tries and four conversions.

The closest game was a 12–10 encounter in which Northern Suburbs beat Southern Districts.

In round five Randwick put on a show in their 40–0 defeat of the East beasties with Hugo Cummins scoring three tries.

Eastwood beat Sydney University West 36–0 and Penrith beat the Two Blues 38–0.

In round six Gordon beat Easts 45–0 with a close encounter between Eastwood and Northern Suburbs with Eastwood triumphant 19–17.

UNDER 14S GIRLS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In the fourth round of the under 14 girls. Penrith came out hard with a 64–0 win over Gordon in their first match of the day.

A standout for Penrith was Alliyah Hukui who scored four tries and made six conversions in the match.

In round five the Two Blues beat Gordon 34-0 with Lavinia Marsila scoring three tries.

Manly Wests beat Randwick 24-0 and Penrith beat Southern Districts/Sydney 17-5.

In round six Illawarra scored a convincing 40–12 win over the Hunter Wildfires with Malia Meafou scoring two tries in this match and Rora Te Ra Chase making five conversions.

UNDER 15S BOYS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In the under 15 boys Penrith defeated Sydney University/West 24–0 in their first match on Sunday while Northern Suburbs beat Warringah Rats 20–5 in another good win.

In the Norths win Henry Frap scored three tries in a big performance .

In Eastwood‘s round five 42–0 win over Sydney University West Jett Watkin scored three tries .

In round six the Wildfires defeated Central West Rugby 36–10 with Nate Jury scoring a trifecta of tries.

UNDER 16S BOYS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In round four of the under 16 boys the Wildfires beat MNC 47–7, Central North beat SIRU 26–0 and the Warringah Rats beat Randwick 25–0.

In the following round Illawarra defeated Central West 29–0 in a high-scoring game.

Central Coast and Central North drew 14–14 in this round. Gabriel O’Connor scored every point for Central North with two tries and two conversions.

In a closely fought round six of matches, Central West defeated SIRU 35–0 in the biggest score line with Cooper Williams going over for two tries and Ben Wilner converting all of his five attempts.

UNDER 16S GIRLS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In the under 16 girls fourth round Manly West defeated Warringah Rats 28–0 in a battle of the beaches.

The hot boot of Lara Murray converted all four of Manly‘s tries.

In round five Penrith defeated Warringah Rats 19–0 with Liannah Amete going over for two tries and also kicking a conversion

The Two Blues recorded the highest score in round six with their 19-10 defeat of Randwick.

Serenity Tuaninekore went over for two tries in this match.

UNDER 18S BOYS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In the under 18 boys West Harbour defeated Northern Suburbs 36–0 in round four with Jayden Mazoudier scoring a try and making two conversions.

In round five the Wildfires defeated far North Coast 36–7 with Darcy Emmett scoring two tries for the Wildfires and Cody Field scoring a try and making three conversions.

In the Two Blues 28–0 win over Northern Suburbs Matavius James Petaia nailed four conversions.

In round six Eastwood beat Sydney University 25–19 while San Diego Legion defeated Southern Districts 22–5.

UNDER 18S GIRLS SNAPSHOT ON DAY 2

In the under 18 girls comp, the Manly Mermaids defeated Southern Districts 29–0 in round four and Central Wests Rugby scored a big 47–0 win over Illawarra.

Sienna Sullivan was the star of the show for Central West with an extraordinary haul of two tries and four conversions in the match.

In round five Central North defeated Illawarra 54–0 with Emily Dietrich making six conversions while Lauren Appleby, Matilda Currey and Scarlet Slade all scored two tries.

ACTJRU beat Southern Districts 36–7 in round six, Gordon defeated Randwick 24–0 and Central North beat Central West 20–0.
