There are brothers of NRL stars, sons of legends and players likened to some of the game’s greatest names.
The Australian Secondary Schools Championships that kick off in Port Macquarie on Saturday will bring together 200 of the best under-15s boys and 160 under 16 girls hailing from the biggest rugby league nurseries to tiny towns throughout NSW, Queensland, ACT, Victoria, Western Australia and Northern Territory, all looking to put themselves in the NRL shop window.
As a who’s who of rugby league from all the NRL clubs, along with leading player agents, will converge on the NSW coastal town, Paul Crawley identifies 19 of the hottest young players to watch.
Every match will be live streamed exclusively on KommunityTV from September 23-29.
