NRL 2025: Matt Lodge signs unique deal with Manly Sea Eagles
After months of speculation Matt Lodge has finally made a call on his NRL future, with the prop signing a unique deal with a familiar team, while also pursuing a boxing career.
Matt Lodge will return to Manly with the prop expected to take up a unique contract which will allow him to pursue boxing.
It is understood that Lodge will start on a second tier contract at the Sea Eagles while balancing his boxing commitments. He could be bumped into the top 30 should the Sea Eagles find a roster spot.
Lodge played for the Sea Eagles last year but was on the lookout for a new club despite Manly being keen to retain him.
He spoke with the Dragons and South Sydney but Manly now looms as his potential club for 2025.
