Manly forward Addin Fonua-Blake is facing a ban of at least two matches after being charged with contrary conduct for calling referee Grant Atkins a “f..king r....d” at the weekend.

Fonua-Blake, who apologised to Atkins immediately after the game, was charged with a grade three offence by the match review committee.

He has until Tuesday morning to respond to the charge but faces a two-match ban with an early guilty plea and three matches should he decide to fight the charge and lose at the judiciary.
