The Raiders keep scoring wins with in-form hooker Tom Starling poised to ink a new two-year deal.

Following several weeks of negotiations, Starling, 26, has informed Raiders officials that he intends to commit to the club until the end of 2027.

Only the lodging of final paperwork remains before the new contract is rubber-stamped.

Starling has proven instrumental in Canberra’s surge to second on the NRL ladder, transitioning from a supersub to the club’s first-choice dummy-half.

Starling, alongside rising star Owen Pattie, have formed a formidable one-two punch for Canberra and will look to continue their potency against the Bulldogs at GIO Stadium on Saturday.
