News Corp form analyst Brad Waters looks at Tuesday’s Seymour meeting, where he’s keen on a lightly-raced galloper that looks primed for a win, as well as value-priced runner in the final race of the day.

BEST BET
HOUSO (Race 6 No. 1 – $4.60)
The Mick Kent-trained gelding improved significantly when second on this track second-up. He won’t have to improve much to break through.

NEXT BEST
FAIR GAME (Race 1 No. 2 – $5.50)
She’s a better horse than what he showed on the synthetic first-up. He can improve rising in trip at Seymour.

ALCABEEL (Race 8 No. 4 – $3.10)
Led and gave a good sight when not far away at Sandown last start. He could be much harder to run down this time.

VALUE BET
MOONBIRD (Race 10 No. 8 – $21)
Showed good ability in his maiden campaign and has jumped out well leading up to this. He could bob up at odds in the last.
