Greg Norman poses nude for ESPN’s Body Issue

It takes some courage — and plenty of self-confidence — for a professional athlete in their prime to strip down for a glossy magazine photo shoot.
Let alone a 62-year-old golf legend.
But that’s exactly what two-time major winner Greg Norman has done, baring all for ESPN’s ‘Body Issue’.
Despite having last played competitively over a decade ago, Norman is arguably in the best shape he’s ever been. And he’s clearly unperturbed by any attention he’s received from the shoot.
“I walk around naked at home. It’s not a big deal to me,” Norman told ESPN. “At the end of the day, I do enjoy keeping fit at my age.”
Of course, Norman’s incredible physical condition won’t come as any surprise to those who follow his social media accounts, the ‘Great White Shark’ not afraid to share some rather candid shots to his 110,000-plus Instagram followers.
The grandfather of two’s ludicrous workout regime has helped him achieve such a physique. As detailed in The Weekend Australian Magazine last year, Norman spends around two hours each afternoon in the gym, after working from his office at his Florida home from the early hours of the morning.
“He is tireless,” Kirsten, his wife of seven years, said. “He is up at 6am every morning making me coffee, says good morning to the kids and then gets straight to work. He sets a goal and never slacks off until it is done. I have not encountered many people with his tenacious work ethic.”
Norman, who’s emerged as an unlikely go-between for the Australian and US governments in the past 18 months, also credits his diet for his peak conditioning.
“My outflows completely dictate my inflows,” Norman told ESPN. “I won’t put anything in my body that I know I can’t exhaust in my first session in the gym … Your body gives you what you give it.
“So my body’s giving (me) everything that I wanted out of it. It thanks me on a daily basis.”
ESPN’s ‘Body Issue’ celebrates the physical form of some of the globe’s top athletes by stripping them bare and delving deeper on the story behind the competitor.
Some of the names appearing alongside Norman in the 2018 edition include: LA Galaxy football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, New York Giants rookie Saquon Barkley, WWE wrestler Charlotte Flair, US footballer Crystal Dunn, WNBA ace Sue Bird and USWNT legend Megan Rapinoe.
