Mariners stand down players

A-League falls to virus

The last major domino in the Australian sporting landscape has fallen, with the final rounds of the football season postponed.

A-League gives in to inevitable

The A-League’s season looks set to be formally consigned to history, with the brutal spread of the coronavirus forcing the last football code still playing to call a halt.

Rapid-fire games to beat virus

A-League players will be on standby for the rest of the season to play games with minimal notice as efforts get under way to finish the competition before the coronavirus infects key personnel.
