One of the greatest Ashes Tests of all time has set the tone for what could be an all-timer of an Ashes series – with Australia pulling off the most remarkable of victories.

But who held up their end of the deal at Edgbaston, and who should be looking to improve when the series heads to Lord’s?

For Australia, Usman Khawaja answered the questions surrounding his form in England, yet Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne both failed to fire.

For the hosts, Stuart Broad once again proved he is still one of the world’s best bowlers while Joe Root showed some ominous form for the series.
