SuperCoach NBL Late Mail round 6: Bryce Cotton set to miss four weeks with rib injury
“I did a pretty good number on it”. Four-time NBL MVP Bryce Cotton has lifted the lid on a rib injury that saw him hospitalised over the weekend.
Perth Wildcats superstar Bryce Cotton is expected to miss a month with a gruesome rib injury.
The four-time NBL MVP remains in serious pain after going down in just the second minute against New Zealand Breakers on Saturday.
“I did a pretty good number on it,” Cotton told Channel 10.
“It’s a rib fracture, plus some cartilage broke off and my rib popped out of place.”
Cotton is owned by almost 20 per cent of SuperCoach teams.

UNITED: DELLY SET TO PLAY
Good news on the sixth most purchased player this week with Melbourne United’s Matthew Dellavedova expected to play despite an ankle injury.
However, Shea Ili will miss both Melbourne United games this week with a calf injury and the impending arrival of a new bundle of joy.
WILDCATS: COTTON UNLIKELY
Perth is yet to give an update on Bryce Cotton’s injury prognosis but reports out of WA have suggested there’s no break.
He’s reportedly sore and, while he was cleared to fly back from NZ with the team, he’s unlikely to play.
