The Vixens defender has mild symptoms and must serve her full time in isolation in Perth before she can fly out later next week to join her teammates in the UK.
“Jo is feeling well, which is the number one priority, and she is being closely supported by her Diamonds teammates, medical staff and support staff,” Netball Australia’s executive general manager of performance Stacey West said.
“The Diamonds athletes and support staff continue to follow robust protocols to protect their health and safety in the lead up to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.”
