Who saw that coming?

Sure, the Crows had shown glimpses of good footy in the first two rounds but on the big stage, and on Port’s big prison-bars night, they shot the lights out with a dazzling display.

Riley Thilthorpe wasn’t even in the senior side in round 1 and yet his five goals showed coach Matthew Nicks he shouldn’t be dropped any time soon.

And new skipper Jordan Dawson wrote his name even further into the Showdown folklore with an epic display.

Port weren’t without their own stars on a night when both teams had their chances until the Crows took the game away in the last quarter.
