Port Adelaide have signed a trio of their emerging young crop in a week where Ken Hinkley was locked in as the senior coach until 2025.

This masthead revealed last week free agent Dylan Williams had signed a new two-year deal after a year in which he had finally put in the workrate to flourish as a strong marking tall.

Kane Farrell and Jase Burgoyne have also joined him in signing two-year extensions through to 2025.

Farrell and Williams have both become integral members of the club’s backline using their booming kicks and strong football nous.

The Power have strong interest in securing a ruckman of the star power of Brodie Grundy should he declare he wants out of the Demons.

They will offer ruckman Scott Lycett a one-year deal but he could explore his options in the hope of securing a two-season deal elsewhere.

Ruckman Brynn Teakle is another who could be elsewhere next year depending upon how the club’s ruck order shakes out.

The Power are in an excellent position salary-cap wise after locking in Miles Bergman to 2025 earlier in the year, with Mitch Georgiades offered a four-year deal by the Power.

The mid-sized forward is yet to re-sign as he considers strong Victorian offers, but with Zac Butters and Connor Rozee contracted to the end of 2025 the Power is in a strong position.

The Power are set to ramp up talks with that pair over the summer to secure them long-term, with the star pair the nucleus of the midfield alongside Ollie Wines, Willem Drew and Jason Horne-Francis.

Horne-Francis signed a long-term deal when he moved from North Melbourne, with Travis Boak also expected to play on next year under a one-year deal.
