Collingwood-St Kilda has turned into a blockbuster match and there’s been suggestions of fixture regret.

Has the AFL considered breaking Gather Round ranks before a ball has even been bounced?

They couldn’t do it, could they?

Has the AFL really toyed with the idea of moving the Magpies v Saints back to the home of football?

We hit up AFL HQ to ask the biggest question of the week with the Herald Sun Footy Podcast revealing the fate of the huge game.

The Herald Sun Footy Podcast team also discussed the top 25 Melbourne pubs list and Jay Clark honed in on Nat Fyfe for Moneyball.

Clark reckons the Brownlow medallist – who is set to become a free agent at season’s end – would be a natural target for his former leader-turned-St Kilda coach Ross Lyon.

“He’s been really hampered by this run of injuries,” Clark said.

“This has put every other club’s radars (off).

“When you see the resurgence at St Kilda and his former coach Ross Lyon … what you can guarantee is that Stephen Silvagni will put that call in to Nat Fyfe.”
