AFL MRO round 5: The latest MRO decisions from across the competition

He’s been a bright spot in Adelaide’s good start to 2025, but James Peatling won’t get the chance to show GWS what they’re missing after a dumping tackle on a Cat.

Adelaide recruit James Peatling will miss next week’s clash against his old side after being slapped with a one-match ban.

Peatling laid a firm tackle on Geelong’s Oisin Mullin during Thursday night’s loss, with the match review officer deeming it a rough conduct charge.

If accepted, Peatling will not be available to face Greater Western Sydney in round 6.

Peatling arrived from the Giants after a breakout season in western Sydney last year, and has built into his first campaign for the Giants.

Mullin continued to play on and has not reported any concussion symptoms, however he was subbed out of the clash for Ted Clohesy in a tactical move.
