Flexibility and individualised care are the hallmark of Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame emphasises individualised pastoral care and an excellent educational experience for students.

The University of Notre Dame Australia is a national university, with campuses across Australia in Sydney, Fremantle and Broome.

Our university draws on a rich tradition of teaching, scholarship and research, the foundations of which we share with more than 2000 other Catholic universities and colleges around the world.

We welcome students of all backgrounds, faiths and beliefs and, as a community, we promote and enjoy open and rigorous inquiry, debate and discussion.

What continues to define us is our hallmark emphasis on individualised pastoral care and the excellent educational experience we strive to create for every single one of our students.

We aim to educate the whole person – the academic, social, physical and spiritual dimensions – and are deeply committed to supporting our students to be the best version of themselves. In doing so, we give our students the tools to thrive and make important contributions to their communities, empowering and preparing them for the challenges of an ever-changing work environment.

Our postgraduate students develop and refine their skills and knowledge with a specific focus on their career goals. With some of our programs being offered 100 per cent online, our flexible learning options mean your study can fit around your responsibilities, lifestyle and career.

From a two-year full-time MBA to shorter postgraduate qualifications with a focus on leadership and specialist skills, our emphasis on practical experience through work placements, internships and volunteering opportunities means our graduates are highly sought after in the competitive employment marketplace.

Currently studying her MBA with us, Saakshi Sharma said she wanted a university where she could feel at ease and be herself while completing her studies. “I wanted it to have a cosy environment where I can build a good bond with my peers and professors,” she said.

I’m thrilled that Saakshi has found this combination at Notre Dame. She told us: “The MBA here has the perfect blend of subjects with knowledge that enriches and enhances the capabilities of a good manager. I see myself graduating with a quality degree. Notre Dame is truly unique in the fact that it emphasises the holistic development of its students.”

We know that deciding to return to study is a big decision informed by multiple factors, such as financial position, work and care responsibilities. That’s why we are delighted to offer a number of scholarships for postgraduate students, including the Postgraduate Opportunity Scholarship, which provides financial support to a commencing postgraduate student who is experiencing financial hardship and/or other forms of educational disadvantage.

The Notre Dame Postgraduate Merit Scholarship provides financial support and recognition to a commencing postgraduate student who has demonstrated academic achievement in undergraduate studies, and who demonstrates the vision and capability to make a leadership contribution in their chosen field.

Postgraduate students at Notre Dame are also eligible to apply for a Destination Australia Scholarship, which provides up to $15,000 per year, and is available for students undertaking their postgraduate studies or research at our Broome campus in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Notre Dame is a university committed to making a positive difference by undertaking transformative research, which addresses real-world issues. Our staff are experts in their fields of endeavour, and they work to ensure our students are equipped with the confidence, knowledge and skills to successfully navigate this rapidly changing world across all industries and vocations.

A postgraduate qualification from The University of Notre Dame Australia will equip you with the critical thinking and ethical decision-making skills you need to successfully navigate your journey towards realising your academic and professional goals, forging a career in which you work for the common good, enacting positive change in the world.

Now is your moment.
