Ann Hollingworth, wife of ex-GG, found after massive police search

Police have found the wife of former Governor-General Peter Hollingworth, after she went missing in Melbourne overnight.

The wife of former Governor-General Peter Hollingworth has been found safe and well after she went missing for several hours in Melbourne overnight.

A huge police search was launched late last night when Kathleen Ann Hollingworth went missing from outside her Malvern home at about 9.30pm.

Just after 7am today, police said they had located the 81-year-old at an address in Malvern.

It is understood that she was found at a neighbour’s residence.

Dr Hollingworth was Governor-General from 2001-2003.
