Two women found dead in Melbourne home

Police are investigating the cause and time of death of two women, aged 84 and 64, at their home on Haughton Parade in Rosanna on Tuesday.

Two women have been found dead in a home in Melbourne’s northeastern suburbs.

Police attended a residence on Haughton Parade in Rosanna, 12km northeast of Melbourne’s CBD, to conduct a welfare check at about 11.20am on Tuesday.

“Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of two women in Rosanna,” a police spokesperson said.

Inside the home, emergency services located the bodies of two women, aged 84 and 64.

As of Tuesday afternoon, police are yet to determine the cause of the deaths or when they occurred.

At this early stage police say the deaths are not believed to be suspicious.
