Police hunt for a man who allegedly urinated on food in Woolies

Police are seeking help to identify a man who allegedly urinated on $300 worth of Woolworths products.

Police are hunting for a man who walked into a Woolworth’s store in Sydney’s CBD and allegedly urinated on food.

It is alleged the man walked into the George Street store and caused about $300 worth of damage to produce, which took staff several hours to decontaminate.

Central Metropolitan Region officers are investigating the incident which occurred about 11.40pm on July 1.

A police spokesperson said the man was caucasian, about 20 to 30-years old with a medium build.

He was wearing a backwards navy blue cap, black jacket, black pants, dark blue shoes and was carrying a black satchel bag.

Footage shows the man leaving the store and tying up his pants.

Police would like to speak with the man who may be able to help them with inquiries.
