Meghan Markle’s brother doesn’t believe Oprah interview and says dad disapproves of Harry

Thomas Markle Jr unleashed on “cold blooded” sister during interview for Big Brother VIP, saying he doesn’t “buy” her mental health claims.

The half-brother of Meghan Markle has unloaded on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, slamming the pair’s Oprah interview as dishonest and saying their father does not approve of the marriage.

In an interview for Big Brother VIP, Thomas Markle Jr agreed her sister was “cold-blooded” and said “no idea” how his sister ended up part of the British royal family.

“My dad doesn’t approve of them,” Markle Jr said. “My father said he [Harry] couldn’t even protect those chickens in the backyard if he needed to,” he added in an apparent reference to rescue chickens at the couple’s California mansion.

Thomas Markle Sr wanted Harry to behave like a proper gentleman, Markle Jr said.

“He wants Harry to do things proper like call him on the phone, go see him in person, and ask ‘Can I take your daughter’s hand in marriage’,” he added.

“He cherishes Meghan, he worships her, I feel sorry for him because she won’t even pick up the phone and call my father ever, and then he is in the dark as much as everybody else is.”

Despite confirming that hadn’t spoken to Meghan or Prince Harry, the 55-year-old claimed his sister was lying about her mental health struggles during the couple’s incendiary interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Among other explosive allegations, Meghan claimed in the interview that the palace refused to help when she expressed mental health struggles.

Markle Jr said his estranged sibling knew what she was getting into marrying into the royal family and shouldn’t complain about it.

“I don’t 100% buy that and I don’t agree with some of the things on the Oprah interview like not having those [mental health] services available. I can’t imagine being that sheltered,” he said.

“If you got a job and you got paid $4 million salary a year to bow and curtsy and shake hands and take pictures and do some charity work here and some charity work, it’s about the highest pedestal you can get to in life. So do your job and don’t gripe about it,” he added.

Markle Jr continued airing the family’s dirty laundry during the interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, saying that Prince Harry was next on the “chopping block” after Meghan dumped her last husband.

“The guy she was married to the first time, Trevor, have you seen those Saw movies? This guy owns that production company. That guy just took care of her. She was adored by him.

“And she just walked all over him and dumped him, that fast. After being married, she sent him the ring in the mail - is that cold or what?”
