Twerkgate
Viewers and attendees were left stunned as the first female Ballon d’Or winner was asked to twerk moments after claiming the historic award. Extinction ‘on horizon’
Famed naturalist and documentary maker Sir David Attenborough has said the world is facing a man-made disaster of global scale. Addressing world leaders at the UN climate conference in Katowice, Poland, Sir David said without action the collapse of our civilisations and the extinction of much of the natural world was on the horizon.
“Climate change is running faster than we are and we must catch up sooner rather than later before it is too late.”

Comment of the day
“In Brisbane on Sunday when temperatures were 30 degrees +, the power went out from 3pm till 10:30pm due to usage overload.
“I had power all night thanks to battery/solar that I paid for without subsidy, and the total fixed cost over 5 years is still cheaper than what my power bill used to be.
“Environmental damage aside, the economics are already there for this set-up noted by my ever increasing credit on my power bill and it doesn’t take much more than common sense to realise that using a lifetime supply of free sun is better every day of the week for us all.”
Sam, in response to ‘Catch up with climate change or it will end us’.
