PM eyes May 11 poll

After Gladys Berejiklian’s victory in NSW, Scott Morrison begins his quest to win back the bush for the federal election. Scott Morrison can take heart from the NSW state Liberal victory but not much credit, writes Dennis Shanahan.

Ms Berejiklian vowed to take NSW “to the next level” as she ­became the state’s first popularly elected female premier.

ABC analyst Antony Green has taken aim at the NSW Electoral Commission over the “slowest count I’ve ever seen”.

Deep sickness

Last week another Univer­sity of Sydney academic, English lecturer Nick Riemer, had published in The Sydney Morning ­Herald an article that succeeded in being offensive, insensitive and hypocritical. writes Bella D’Abrera.
