One-day internationals to Fox Sports
Australia’s home limited-overs cricket internationals will go to Fox Sports for the first time under a landmark $1.182 billion, six-year broadcast rights deal.
Cricket Australia confirmed the deal struck with the Seven Network and Fox Sports this afternoon, which means the end of four decades of the Australian summer of cricket on the Nine Network.

Trump seeks ‘better TPP deal than Obama’
Donald Trump appears to have tempered his initial enthusiasm to examine the possibility of the US re-entering the Trans Pacific Partnership, tweeting that he’d only want a “substantially better deal” than was offered to Barack Obama.
Earlier, the President ordered his senior economic and trade advisers to examine the possibility of the United States rejoining the 11-nation TPP, reportedly saying: “Go get it done.”

Aussie shocker ends in tears
Gymnast Danielle Prince’s farewell international performance started well, in the ball competition of the rhythmic gymnastic discipline, but it ended in tears.
The 25-year-old had a pair of mishaps with the ball, sending it out of the mat area off her knees. She scored a 7.6 to finish in eighth place, well behind winner Diamanto Evripidou’s 13.8.
“It was incredibly emotional,” she said.
“I think when you want something that badly, it’s that fine balance in our sport between pushing until you can’t go any more and then trying to keep it together as well.”

Voller attempts self harm
Dylan Voller has allegedly attempted to harm himself in the back of a police wagon after being arrested on the Gold Coast.
The 20-year-old, whose mistreatment by guards at in a youth correctional facility sparked a royal commission, was arrested for breaching his bail condition.
He was among five activists arrested at Broadbeach while protesting against the Commonwealth Games.
