Liberals push for Joyce to go

Labor concentrated on Joyce during question time but made little headway while senior Liberals have reached out to key National MPs as part of a growing push to oust disgraced Barnaby Joyce. Meanwhile, Graham Richardson has weighed in, writing the odds are stacked against the Deputy PM’s survival.

Baghdadi ‘alive but injured’

Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is alive but badly injured, according to captured jihadists.

South Africa’s ruling party has agreed to remove Jacob Zuma as the country’s President.
