‘Dead kids used for cash’

A Gold Coast mother has been charged with murdering two of her children and gaining financial benefit from their insurance payouts. Maree Mavis Crabtree, 51, was arrested in Coorparoo this morning after an extensive police investigation into the death of her daughter, 18, and son, 26.
