’They work with the CFMEU’
Peter Dutton has told Question Time the government has cancelled 181 visas of people who are in bikie gangs.
Dutton says hitting outlaw motorcycle gang will limit drug dealing, and also accused bikie gangs of consorting with the CFMEU.
“They work with the CFMEU because many elements of the CFMEU are also criminal in nature and they are involved in extortion on building sites around the country,” Dutton said.

Westpac tried to evict pensioner
The banking royal commission has heard how Westpac tried to force the sale of a pensioner’s house to recoup funds.
Witness Caroline Flanagan suffers from glaucoma and is legally blind - she cannot read documents unassisted.
She has also had cancer, depression, osteoporosis, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, chronic obstructive airway disease and is recovering from a fractured pelvis.

NSW cop dies in NZ
An Australian man who died during a rafting trip in New Zealand’s South Island has been named as 31-year-old NSW policeman Joshua Paroci.
The NSW native was one of six Australians on the raft, which overturned on rapids at Skippers Canyon near Queenstown on Saturday.
