NXT crossbencher Rebekha Sharkie has become the latest parliamentarian to be embroiled by the dual-citizenship fiasco as it is revealed Nick Xenophon’s wingwoman was still a British citizen when she was nominated to run for the 2016 election. In other section 44 news, Bill Shorten has demanded an inquiry into Communications Minister Mitch Fifield’s “cover up” of Senate president Stephen Parry’s potential dual-citizenship.
