The Australian man shot in New Zealand has been identified, and the newly appointed NSW Building Commissioner said the Mascot building evacuated in June is one of the most “poorly built” constructions he has ever seen.

Australian tourist shot dead in New Zealand identified

A man shot in a campervan as his terrified fiancée ran for her life has been named as it’s revealed the gunman drove for an hour with his body.

Mascot Towers ‘most poorly built’

The evacuated Mascot Towers apartment block in Sydney’s south was one of the most “poorly built” constructions he had seen and the builder involved “shouldn’t really have been in the space doing it”, the newly appointed NSW Building Commissioner declared today.

Folau ‘no problem for rugby finances’

Rugby Australia chief executive Raelene Castle has played down suggestions sacked Wallaby Israel Folau could win up to $10 million from a successful unfair dismissal claim and declared that the sport’s finances are “fine’ as it confronts the law suit.
