Foley ‘put his hands down my pants’

NSW Opposition Leader Luke Foley is expected to resign after journalist Ashleigh Raper accused him of groping and touching her inappropriately. It’s difficult to see any other option but for Luke Foley to stand aside, giving Labor five months to build around a new leader, writes Andrew Clennell.

Archbishop ‘sorry’ for distress

The Anglican Archbishop of Sydney Glenn Davies has apologised for the “distress” caused by a letter calling on the government to defend religious freedoms in schools.

Lion Air plane in runway crash

A Lion Air plane has crashed into a lamp post while trying to take off in Sumatra, just nine days after the airline had an aircraft plunge into the Java Sea.

Man admits to Eurydice murder

A 19-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the rape and murder of Melbourne comedian Eurydice Dixon.
