GoFundMe ‘buckled against freedom demands’

Israel Folau‘s representatives say GoFundMe “buckled to demands against the freedoms of Australians” when it pulled down his fundraising page, as churches are inundated with requests to help the former Wallaby.

Plastic bags had early hit

The nation’s leading supermarket chains have acknowledged the disruption to trading and downward pressure on sales caused by last year’s ban on single-use plastic bags.

Clover declares climate emergency

A formal declaration by the Sydney City Council that the city is in a state of “climate emergency” and Sydneysiders at “serious risk” from climate change is expected to pass at tonight’s council meeting.
