Australian John Millman has claimed his biggest scalp and one of the biggest upsets in US Open history by beating Roger Federer in four sets.

Katter’s Australian Party has referred Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to Queensland’s corruption watchdog after she axed its staff.

China delegate walks out on host

China’s representative at the Pacific Island Forum in Nauru has stormed out of talks after a dispute with host nation leader, President Baron Waqa, and New Zealand journalist Barbara Dreaver has been detained by police at the event after she was seen talking to refugees.
