I’ve got witness who saw Daryl Maguire let himself in, says Mark Latham

A witness saw Daryl Maguire drive up to the rear entrance of Gladys Berejiklian’s Sydney home while the two were secretly dating and let himself in using his own set of keys, according to One Nation’s Mark Latham.
The revelation comes as the NSW Premier continues to evade questions about the true extent of her relationship with the disgraced former MP for Wagga Wagga and whether she was obligated to disclose their years-long romance.
She has refused to answer questions from The Weekend Australian, including whether Mr Maguire had a key to her home. Mr Latham raised the issue of the key in the NSW upper house on Thursday.
The issue could have serious ramifications for the Premier, as the NSW ministerial code of conduct requires her to disclose the pecuniary interests of all “family members”, the definition of which includes “any person with whom the minister is in an intimate personal relationship”.
Mr Latham said he heard Mr Maguire had a key to her home and, “while cohabitating, came and went as he liked, as recently as last month”.
“When the bombshell about Gladys Berejiklian came out at ICAC 11 days ago I got a report about a reliable person who had seen Daryl drive up to the rear of the Berejiklian property on Sydney’s north shore, get out of his car, walk up to her back door and let himself in using his keys,” he said.
“The question about the key is critical. Everyone knows that, if you’re living somewhere and you hand a key over to a partner, you’re obviously in a very close, intimate relationship. So if Daryl McGuire had that key, it follows that they were in an intimate relationship and that means that Gladys Berejiklian has got a lot of other important questions to answer …”
The Premier said on Friday: “It would be inappropriate to comment … while an ICAC investigation is under way.”
