Politics latest: PM's meeting with Trump off amid early G7 exit shock; US President, Starmer in nod to AUKUS

Anthony Albanese has been blindsided by the White House announcement and any meeting is now unlikely, amid signs the US may escalate its role in the Israel-Iran conflict. Earlier, President Trump and Sir Keir Starmer reaffirmed the importance of AUKUS.
