Politics latest: Citizenship ceremonies 'timed' around Burke's calendar

Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke instructed staff to organise the timing of a citizenship blitz around his 'window of availability', giving him a chance to pose up in front of new voters ahead of the election, his department secretary revealed in Senate estimates on Monday.
