Erin Patterson, accused of murdering three with death cap mushrooms, appears in court

The woman charged with murdering three with death cap mushrooms has been photographed for the first time since she was charged in late 2023.

The accused mushroom murderer Erin Patterson has been photographed for the first time since late 2023 on her way to Melbourne’s Supreme Court.

Patterson, 50, held a book as she entered the precinct and was wearing a khaki jumper and dark trousers and tortoise shell glasses.

Patterson has pleaded not guilty to killing her former in-laws Don Patterson, 70, and Gail Patterson, 70, and Heather Wilkinson, 66, after a lunch at her home in South Gippsland on July 29, 2023.

She is also facing other charges, with local pastor Ian Wilkinson, 68, having survived the meal.

Details of the court hearing cannot be published for legal reasons.

Her trial is due to start at the end of this month.
