A 40-year-old man allegedly committed four acts of gross indecency on the girls – aged four to nine – on Wednesday night.
The Australian understands the children were forced to perform oral sex on the man. The children are aged 4, 7, 7 and 9.
NT Police said none of the alleged victims were raped and the man was known to the children’s family.
The alleged offender was arrested on Thursday and denied bail. He has been remanded until October 13.
An offender found guilty of sexual intercourse or gross indecency involving a child under the age of 10 faces a jail sentence of 25 years.
