Travel destination on the top of your hit list?

Sydney. I am excited to be coming for the launch of our new project this month.

Design luminary you would still like to meet?

I was lucky to meet [former] Apple designer Jony Ive recently. Nothing should ever require instructions. The best design is usable by anyone of any age.

Your preferred way to entertain?

At home with friends, cooking, hosting, relaxing and just “being”.

Favourite up-and-coming creative?

British artist George Rouy – I love the way he depicts the human figure, the shapes he uses as well as the colours and textures he creates. I have also recently launched the Banda Gallery where we will be showcasing some amazing up-and-coming artists.

Building you’d love to call home?

We are designing a project in Darling Point, Sydney, 81 Yarranabbe. This for me would be the ultimate Southern Hemisphere home. The views, the sleek lines, the feeling of space and natural light are world class. Every residence is appointed with a private garage for three or four cars and direct lift access. [There’s] a discreet concierge, 25-metre pool, wellness sanctuary centre and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The project he is designing at 81 Yarranabbe Rd, Darling Point, Sydney.

A walk with my family and lunch in a local pub. The Bull in Charlbury in the Cotswolds is my go-to.

Gianni Agnelli had an iconic dress sense and style.

Your style staple?

Navy blue high-waisted pleated trousers, white shirt and white trainers. There are also some great finds in Dunhill and New & Lingwood in London.

Drink of choice?

Where is your happy place?

Top of any mountain or in Lamu, Kenya.

Hotel you’d like to experience next?

Kisawa Sanctuary, located on the southern tip of Benguerra Island in Mozambique.

Wellness pursuit you would like to try next?

Regular cold plunges and wild-water lake swims are fantastic ways to boost my energy and improve my wellbeing. I am looking at getting an ice bath for home.
