Last Post: Hard to agree with Tingle’s ‘racist nation’ comment
Poor Laura Tingle, suffering from “a terrible chill on hearing Peter Dutton’s budget speech”, then experiencing an odd mental/optical aberration, having a “sudden flash of people turning up to try and rent a property” because of his policies. On hearing her words we felt a pain, emanating from a pain in the neck.

Speak for yourself, Laura Tingle. I am Australian, Australia is my country, and I am not racist.

Why is Laura Tingle allowed to use the national broadcaster, the ABC, as a platform to espouse her political views, which are more attuned to pronouncements out of the politburo rather than those of a supposedly balanced taxpayer-funded public broadcaster?

It’s such a shame that the CSIRO that we used to rate so highly has become tainted by politics, as so well described in Judith Sloan’s commentary (“CSIRO’s flawed nuclear report is riddled with errors”, 28/5).

We see where the Greens may have derived their name: nothing to do with the environment, everything to do with the politics of green envy.

If Direction 99 is telling the Administrative Appeals Tribunal to go easy on criminals, I wonder what the other 98 are telling them?
