Adam Creighton (“MAGA voters ‘really don’t care’ about stockmarket shocks”, 11/4) gives a sobering account of how the majority of Americans are not impacted by the recent drop in the sharemarket. Definitely not a similar situation here.

Ralph Hilmer, Randwick, NSW

Christina Faulk, Swinger Hill, ACT

Tony Hennessy, Casino, NSW

Vale Keith Windschuttle, who outshone his peers when it came to “truth-telling” (“Windschuttle, a fierce intellect”, Editorial, 11/4).

Owen Reid, Dunlop, ACT
