Inflation challenging leaders’ ability to explain economic woes

One minute our inflation is the result of the Ukraine war, now it is Donald Trump’s fault (“Treasurer keen to take cover behind the ‘chaos’ of Trump”, 18/3). Next thing it will be the fault of those pesky little koalas fleeing the wind turbines.

John Colebatch, Kelso, NSW

Albo’s largesse knows no bounds. Taxes keep rolling in, and the grants keep rolling out.

Kevin Erwin, Keperra, Qld

Stephen Maitland, Red Hill, Qld

K. MacDermott, Binalong, NSW

Trevor Farrant, Hackney, SA

We can only hope Peter Dutton has read David Pearl’s article (“Net-zero black hole a self-inflicted tariff against the nation”, 18/3) and offers an alternative to the green-tinged dystopia of net-zero policies.

Thomas Morgan, Mount Nelson, Tas

If I were an aspiring Coalition candidate at the election, I would plead with Chris Bowen to visit my seat often. He is the best thing going for a change of government.

David Cook, Drummoyne, NSW
