Pauline’s wicked week in the west as geriatric rebels hijack One Nation WA campaign
Richo says Pauline Hanson has met her match in the wild, wild west. The Australian, yesterday:
For the first time, I have begun to wonder if the meteoric rise of Pauline Hanson and One Nation can continue unabated. A Galaxy poll published in Perth’s The Sunday Times had One Nation at a fairly ordinary nine per cent ...
The past few weeks have not gone well for the Queensland senator. She would brook no dissent from party members in Western Australia who dared to question the preference deal with the Liberals. This merely proved that One Nation is not a real political party.
She had one strong backer in 79- year-old One Nation WA secretary Marye Louise Daniels. ABC News, December 9, 2016:
... she rang us up to say she was giving it (leadership of One Nation WA) to us ... she said ‘Marye and Ron, you’re the only people we can trust in WA’.
But things have taken a turn for the worse. ABC News, Wednesday:
Former One Nation powerbrokers Ron McLean and Marye Louise Daniels have accused the party’s leader, Senator Pauline Hanson, of sacking Mr McLean as a candidate in the West Australian election because she felt he was “too old” to run for parliament. Mr McLean, 87, had reprised his role as One Nation’s WA branch president in December ... His 79-year-old wife (Daniels) was also removed as secretary.
Older candidates are great, says the couple’s lawyer John Hammond. Just look at US senator ... umm ... we know this one ... Hammond speaking in Perth, Wednesday:
Senator Bernie ... umm ... umm ... (checks notes) Sanders.
Marye Louise has a pretty darn good memory. Hanson should keep her on. Perth, continued:
Journalist: So Senator Hanson personally told you this?
Marye Louise Daniels: Yes.
Journalist: And when was this?
Marye Louise Daniels: 22nd of February. At 20 to 9 ... (pause) ... 8.40.
If only One Nation had used gay mind control to shut these rebels up. One Nation WA lower house candidate Michelle Meyers on Facebook, November 25, 2016:
Are you wondering why even some Christians are being swayed by the gender industry’s pitch and push for same sex ‘marriage’ and acceptance of fake families? It’s not by accident; it’s by a carefully contrived but disingenuous mind control program, melded together by two Norwegian homosexuals who graduated from Harvard ...
Also, Pauline has apologised for her silly vaccination comments. Sunrise, yesterday:
I have heard a couple of doctors have said that there is no test. I do apologise. If that be the case, I am wrong.
WA Labor star candidate Alannah MacTiernan also has a funny history with vaccines. The West Australian, January 6, 2016:
Federal MP Alannah MacTiernan has ruffled the feathers of Labor colleagues by giving guarded support to families who do not want their children immunised ... She said some families were being dismissed as rabid “anti-vaxxers” and being financially penalised for having legitimate concerns about their children’s health.
We hope she isn’t health minister if Labor wins tomorrow ... Peter van Onselen, The Australian, yesterday:
... it’s hard to see Colin Barnett’s government being returned for a third term.
