Greens find refugee they don’t want with plan to ban Don from Oz

And Britain’s Speaker looks to ban Trump despite previously greeting despots.

Donald Trump was democratically elected in case you forgot. The Australian, November 10, 2016:

Donald Trump called it the “silent majority” and he was right.

This silent majority spoke yesterday with a voice that was deafening and in doing so it has changed the face of American politics.

But the Greens want him banned from Australia. The Australian website, yesterday:

The Greens will move an amendment today aimed at cancelling the visas and deporting foreign heads of state and governments in a move directed at new US President Donald Trump.

They argue that if Mr Trump was a “rapper” he would be denied entry on character grounds to Australia for the promotion of racism and sexism.

Guys, we thought you liked refugees? Trump’s being persecuted by polls. Washington Post, Tuesday:

Donald Trump’s net approval rating — already at a historic low for an incoming president — has taken a further hit. According to the Pollster average, about 50 per cent of Americans disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president while 43 percent approve, for a net approval rating of -7. In Gallup’s polling, Trump’s net approval is -10.

The Greens do love a good ban, just look at Israel. Greens NSW website, July 12, 2010:

Greens NSW State Council has agreed to back a series of military, trade and services boycotts of Israel and to support the growing international BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions) movement .

UK Speaker John Bercow also wants to ban Trump, UK House of Commons, Monday:

I would not wish to issue an invitation to President Trump ... I feel very strongly that our opposition to racism and to sexism and our support for equality before the law and an independent judiciary are hugely important considerations ...

Hosting the anti-Israel Emir of Kuwait was no problem. The Telegraph, Tuesday:

Kuwait refuses entry to anyone with an Israeli passport, has a poor record on women’s rights and aggressively cracks down on free speech.

Bercow lauded Chinese autocrat Xi Jinping when he visited Parliament. Royal Gallery, October 20, 2015:

… the world will be watching and waiting expectantly on the outcome as the emerging superpower that is China takes its new place in the world.

What’s Xi been up to? Financial Times, July 27, 2016:

Mr Xi has presided over a crackdown without precedent since the repression that followed the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.

Bercow had tea with NORTH KOREA?! John, mate, come on. Guido Fawkes, Tuesday:

On 28 March 2011, the Speaker had representatives from the North Korean regime round for tea in the Speaker’s House.

Hard to distinguish between democrats and dictators when you have a seat for life. UK Parliament website:
They (speakers) are generally unopposed by the major political parties ...

Cut and Paste would understand if the Queen snubbed Trump to avoid golf. The Times, January 25, 2017:

Most audaciously he wants the Queen to ask him not to Windsor or

Buckingham Palace but to Balmoral, .... he’s said to want to play a round of golf on its private course while the Queen, who is no golfer, is made to watch.
